That dog was most likely not going to do anything harmful to the cat. It looks like it just wanted to play, even if the cat would have ran because of it. That's probably why they filmed it. It was cute.
to be honest, i got money on the kitty. put it down, it probably could have taken that sad excuse for a dog out.
