Don't put Blaze in the kennel!!!

Ivy Lynne said...

I thought my dog was the only one who talked!

Gregg Helmberger said...

Nobody puts Blaze in a kennel!

fonzie said...

That dog is going to be a behavior problem if they don't do some training. He looks ready to snap at the guy and that is very dangerous. I didn't think this was funny. The captioning looked funny, the sounds the dog was making were "funny", but otherwise, I didn't like this video.

6287 said...

That mouthing is a husky trait and is 100% non-aggressive.

LadeyLuck3 said...

It is not dangerous, and at no point was that dog ready to snap. Huskies can't bark, like a few other breeds, so they use moaning and groaning as communication. Clearly you don't know much about dog breeds. They are smart pack dogs... read a book.

Klare said...

Sounds just like my Aurora.

Autumnsice said...

huskys can indeed bark and do at times. some don't bother at all.

Chrissy Lane said...

I thought my dog was the only one who talks back when he doesn't like what I want him to do! Blaze is a sweetheart.

lizsteve31 said...

It's funny the way he goes limp, like a protester trying to be hauled away by the police.

Gram said...

oH my goodness .. he is so cute!!!

Doglover said...

So what is the important reason why Blaze has to go in a kennel in the first place! Just take him out to pee before bed and let him sleep without anxiety. My dog hated her kennel too. She hasn't slept in it for ten years. She's a loyal, loving well behaved dog who only wants to please. Forcing dogs to discomfort only makes them neurotic.

Anthony Roberts said...

hahaha really? you really went there? There is always ONE that just has to ruin the fun. Just worry about yelling at people for being on your lawn! hhaha. GET OFF MY LAWN!

Jo Celyn said...

loosen up , you're too serious.

Cooper said...

Blaze needs a treat to light his fire.

mal said...

I think Blaze should have said "Oh Heck NOOO!" LOL He is cute!

ShesRight said...

yea! He's clearly a cat person and does not know much about Huskies! … also has no sense of humor… sad life I say.

Mike Subia said...

After this I would just cancel my trip and lay with Blaze on the floor for the next week.

doggy said...

hahahaha, biggest douchebag-comment i've heard in years. Shut down your computer and get a dog, fonzie! 'behavior problem if the don't do some training' - sounds like you just looked into a mirror ;) !

Brenda Ell said...

I also have a husky and they do talk!

Dingus said...

phht...maybe YOU need to read a book. they don't bark because they choose not to. It's a style thing..like some people choose not to use proper English.

Dingus said...

if you use the kennel for punishment they wont like it. If you set the thing up like a den they would rather be in it than not. if you train them to be kenneled it is never an issue. You just have to think like a dog. never use it for punishment.

Jeremy said...

My dog just read these comments and found them hilarious.

Meri Bechtel said...

OMG, this is hilarious!!

I know the owner is just teasing the dog about the kennel, but remember: Huskies are incredibly intelligent. Remember to actually make it a non-game command when it's kennel time and reward with positive reinforcement when he obeys, and all will be well.

Maggie said...

Not true. I never used my cage as a punishment and 2 of my dogs would hide in the morning before I left for work. I finally just left them out.

Doug Cayton said...

Agreed, douche-bag indeed, God forbid this human has kids!

Doug Cayton said...

Wow....get a life, really.

CCM said...

I just say...want a cookie and my dog is in the kennel before I get there...she also races there if she hears me getting the cookie before I say want a cookie. She is a smart one.

Karey Jean Smith said...

He doesn't look "ready to snap", not to anyone who has had a dog anyway.

Karey Jean Smith said...

Huskies can bark just fine, but they prefer to talk.

Remi Moreau said...

Aw, lighten up, Potsie... er, ah Fonzie

Megs said...

That looks like play behaviour, not aggressive biting.

Patty Igel-Cruz said...

Oh yes they can bark, I hear the one across the street from me every day. He's put out to do his business and when he's done he barks 2 times to go back in. If no one comes out he barks 2 times again !

Maradbabe said...

Get off the thread you don't know what your talking about

RuFerReal said...

Looks like we have a lot of Cliff Clavins on this thread... Its just a cute video, there's no one thing huskeys don't or do, do. People should allow others to state an opinion, their opinion without the Cliffs of the world, calling them names and telling them what their saying is wrong. Its an opinion their making not a true or false statement. Get a life Cliffs.

lol. You are just pretending you understand dog-language aren't you?

Krisztina said...

LMFAO ::)
This is a very gorgeous dog! <3

justsayin said...

to me, as someone who has been around dogs my whole life, he isn't getting ready to snap he was mouthing, something used in play for nearly every breed in puppy play and in some breeds up to adult hood. Blaze didn't have his teeth bared in an aggressive way at all, and I am sure both Blaze and his owner know each other well enough to know when to stop.

Bark said...

I have had dogs my whole life first of all. I also thought that the dog looked like if pushed he could be aggressive and also thought it was a behavior issue. But the real point is you people who are being aggressive are the ones with the behavior problem not Blaze nor Fonzie. So lighten up and take a run around the block. Chill.

Karen Santa Maria said...

I have a husky, and she talks, mouths, barks, complains, it's all part of how they behave, this dog is NOT going to have any issues at all..really! I wish people would just watch a video meant to be entertaining and keep the judgmental ignorant comments to themselves....

Bark said...

I have never heard a dog that couldn't bark. Please read more.

My daughters Husky Kiloe is the same way. She goes to the window and sulks every time Cass leaves and whines Mama!!! Love her to pieces!!!

Cheryl said...

Our husky barks very little. Only when someone is here that she does not know or a stray enters her yard. Otherwise, she won't bark.

nat williams said...

you obviously don't know anything about dogs. that husky was at no time showing signs of aggression or 'dangerous' behaviour, was not at all 'ready to snap' at the guy. obviously you've never owned a dog, much less a husky. dogs are the best pets you could add to your family. they'll keep you active, unlike cats. so, since you find the video scary, take a chill pill, find your sense of humour & get educated on different breeds of dogs. you'll find that, even those that are claimed to be bullies aren't bad dogs at all as long as they are raised with a good owner.(i.e. not abused but cared for, trained, proper handling!) this vid is hilarious! the dog is great!

pam said...

Did he ever go in? :)

karen said...

he was just protesting. they are so vocal! and there's nothing cuter than a handsome guy being gentle with his pup. love this!

nat williams said...

some dogs would prefer to be in a kennel while their owner is away from the home. if a dog is trained early to go to the kennel it's not an issue. and a kennel shouldn't be used as a punishment! it should be like a 'safe place' for the dog to stay when left a lone. it can also save a lot of damage to your home from dogs that have seperation issues, tearing up the couch pillows, trash, etc. etc. kennels can be a very positive thing for a dog!

larry said...

your dog looks just like mind and she does so many things and does say no,and yes bye

Margarida Costa said...

This Husky is Portuguese, his pronunciation of the word "não" (no) is perfect.

This just made my day. Reminds me of my husky Togo.

Renee' Parker said...

so funny ..

Jennifer Jarman Stephens said...

It is a learned trick. Do you not see him placing his hand on the dog each time Blaze says "no?" It is not a behavior problem - it a sign of a well trained dog!

Brohdaw said...

Gorgeous dog!!!!

Darla Sowders said...

I kinda doubt he actually wanted the dog in the kennel.

GFGal in KY said...

I never used my crate as punishment either and I have two who are terrified of it. I am a life long dog parent and have never had issues before in crate training. However, add in separation anxiety and the crate becomes unbearable. My other two routinely disappear and are found in their crates sleeping like babies. It is really up to the disposition of your dog.

Sway said...

Besinjis are a breed of dog that cannot bark. Many breeds don't bark by choice and prefer howling, but besinjis do not have that option. High pitched howling is all they have. They might do short yelps that mimic barking though.

karen said...

unreal!! this dog says "NO" a hundred different ways!!

Indynana said...

He is beautiful! looks like he has eyeliner on his eyes! I love him!

James Hatcher said...

It looks more like the guy in this video is squeezing the dog to the point of pain every time versus the dog saying no.

harperman said...

Bite him Blaze.

Jeff River Law said...

my shepard husky mix Skye King watched this very intently......he's a big mouth too. He's making similar noises now....

Scot Hayward said...

Maybe we should put them in kennel for messing with Blaze.

AJ said...

I use the kennel as a time-out all the time for my Black Lab and he LOVES his kennel. Sometimes he sleeps in his kennel (or the "night-night" as I call it) rather than sleeping in bed with me. And when it comes time for me to leave, all I have to say is "NIGHT NIGHT!" and he goes straight into the kennel without hesitation. It's all about HOW you train them

Angi Walker said...

Beautiful baby! My dog watched this video and moaned no with him…too funny!

Kalrinda said...

There is a breed of dog that does not bark, it's called a Basenji and I have them. Look them up

Jgartept said...

This is a wonderful video. Thanks for posting. What a great dog!

antheaura said...

Samson is my German Shepherd. He has a similar vocabulary!

amy said...

As a dog owner, I must admit this is cute.....my Chihuahua rolls over when I tell him and pushes him to his cage!

Lynda K Griffin said...

Blaze looks so much like my beloved Kerry who was extremely intelligent and so advanced trained {pet therapy, clowning, obedience, and companionship} now I have a "red" that acts the same and will bark if she determines it to be necessary

Becky Jackson said...

He is gorgeous. I had huskies for 10 yrs and they would bark, but they were more of a talker or howler. My female would sit and talk to you all day as long as u would talk to her. My male wasn't as much of a talker as he was a howler I live next to a fire dept. and when the sirens would go off he would just sit there and howl and then she would start and the 3rd was one of their sons and he was a talker also, but howled periodically. They really only barked when someone or something came in the yard. This is one of the most loving breed that I have had or been around.

Jessica Bettis said...

Pretty dog. :)

Jessica Bettis said...

No dog wants to get locked up, but for some reasons, they have to. Lets see you go into the kennel. You'd have "behavior problems", too.

Tiffany Simpson said...

my dog does that when she dont wanna come in from sun bathing

Dog Fan said...

Been working with dogs for 20 years and the only dog to ever bite me was a Husky. Clearly YOU don't know much about dog breeds. Huskys will bite and ask questions later. I've worked with many of them.

Dog Fan said...

Bull.

Dog Fan said...

Basenjis don't bark.

Dog Fan said...

Huskys bite first and ask questions later. BTW, most people have been around dogs all their lives. That is not a credential. ;)

Life long dog owner said...

He's not being aggressive, his whold body language is submissive! My dog talks to me all the time, when she has a problem you will know about it! I think Kennel time is over for these guys, time to move this boy into the house to be a fully fledged member of the pack. :)

Life long dog owner said...

Working with animals is all about reading body language. This guy loves to be vocal, he loves to express vocally and thats awesome in many canines of large breeds if raised well its simply a sign of them being playful and lovely. I've had agressive and non'aggressive dogs and this guy is expressing characer but completely submissive body language. Canines are very orally stimulated, that is what they play with so that is why you have to learn the difference between a playful soft bite and a viscious one. Even the most docile dogs will have a playful soft bite if they are raised well and know how to enjoy themselves without being over disaplined out of their natural behaviour. Hey if you don't want an animal in your house dont have one, but they are an animal and they are allowed to play. Dont' worry Fonzie, there is nothing aggressive here I promise, now sit back and relax and enjoy man playing with his bestfriend. :)

Joe North said...

that husky showed no aggression, own one then you can comment. awesome video.

Bullwinkle said...

I also thought there were times when it looked like the dog was going to snap at the man. Then the man would back off and be very tentative with his approach toward the dog. It made me wonder which one had the upper hand in that relationship.

erin said...

I have a husky and I must say its just part of the way they act, if blaze wanted to attack he would have but most of the time they just "nip" aka bite lightly to let you know they aren't happy. As for the debate about crate training, its actually not a bad thing. My husky loved her crate until I got rid of it and when she didn't have it anymore she started sleeping in the closet. They like the fact that they have their own spot to go and get away from things that bother them. Blaze is a typical husky talking back to his owner and letting him know whats up (oh and huskys do bark, mine barks ALOT)

Dawn_G said...

My two dogs were crate trained as puppies but now their crates have covers on them so they look attractive, and the doors are never closed. That is where they sleep, escape when one is bugging the other or when rambunctious children are here, when they have treats they don't intend to share etc. Their crates are their dens and they love being in them

Allie said...

Husky's are notorious "talkers" lol it's pretty funny how clearly they get their point across.

Christy Larson said...

Absolutely love!!! I'm in tears from laughing so hard!

smurfy said...

all dogs will bite if provoked or think they are in danger. Huskies are known for being one of the gentle breeds and being good dogs to have if you have children. all the anger over different points of views is pointless. that husky must not have liked you maybe he sensed your anger.... just saying you shouldnt be judging people just because they have a differ of opinion.

kbhmsw said...

LOL. No means NO!
