Stoat Plays Peek-a-Boo in Tree Stump

An adorable pure white Stoat, aka short-tailed weasel, cautiously pokes his head out of a hollowed out tree stump to say "hello."

Not sure how accurate this is since I didn't see any "big hair" or "mall bangs" in the 80s or 90s eras. ;)

I swear, the lady on the right looked best in all of them. I also really liked her jawline.

So... the 2010s are almost the 70s?

Lady on the left looks better, lady on the right had all the hair accessories, probably because she needed it lmao..

I don't know if that was meant to be racist but it was.

It wasn't. It wasn't nice but it wasn't racist.

So interesting! I find this to be slightly innacurate however, because I'd say the African American woman's beauty standard from 1980s-2000s is permed or weaved (straight, not braided) hair. It didn't change back to natural hair (since the 70s) til the 2010s.

It does feel like these are all "examples of hairstyles from this time" rather than "the most common hairstyle from this time" (on both sides of the video). Its really interesting though, and I love how they found examples of natural hair styles, even if those weren't the norm in an office environment over the whole time period. (Office environment is not the only valid environment, but gosh does it push its culture out of the office, as far as hairstyles go).

why make it a competition on who looks better? this is part of why women have such low self-esteem. It is always like "fuck those skinny bitches," or "black people have better complexions!" Why can't we all be beautiful in our own way?

sab said...

wow lots of the comments say the black lady looks better, but as soon as someone disagrees, its racist.

Anon31 said...

It's not about disagreement, but the manner in which they disagree.
You can be pro-left without dismissing or insulting the right.

sab said...

yes but most of the comments i am seeing are insulting the white woman, as if this is going to make black justice look good.

Anon31 said...

I didn't say the anti-white comments were right either.
However I will say that the "anti-" comments are not considered racist...
Well, these negative comments aren't racist unless they use stereotypes and generalizations aka the manner in which they are written.

I thought this was lots of fun. LOVED the 20s, 60s and 2000s styles. Mel at eyecreamadvisor

They honestly both look so incredibly pretty! I love the ivory skin of the woman on the left and I especially like her 30s and 40s looks, although I think she also looks incredible in the 2010s. I especially like the 60s, 80s and 2010s look of the woman on the right, whom I also find absolutely gorgeous. They're both so pretty in their own way.

There is a HUGE difference between saying you personally like how the black or white women looks better, vs. saying the white woman is beautiful for being white (white "ivory" skin and hair is beautiful) and the black women is ugly for being black (black hair is not beautiful without the help of hair accesories, and even then it is not as beautiful as white hair).

The black woman is soooo beautiful.
