Winter is coming. Wait! Wrong video....
Love the music ;)
It's the Coronation Anthem "Zadok The Priest" by George Frederick Handel.
The Title should read: Why wimps go South for the Winter............. :-)
I really liked the man and the swimming pool.....the pool never gave an inch. Funny stuff until it happens to you. Three different times in my 67 years, I have fallen and broke 1 to 2 ribs. Like I said, it is still funny stuff.
The guy at 2:20 is wearing a 1 direction sweatshirt.. he's around 20 yrs old so it doesn't seem right. The rest is funny, til it happens to you - then it's just embarrassing.
best thing to do.....stay inside, watch vidio's, and let the nuts go outside.
Where were the tire chains at least?
Thats why we are in florida
Tire chains don't work on ice - only on snow. Snow on top of ice is worse.
That's why I have studded tires !!
Funny, funny brings back memories.
That music was composed for the Coronation of George II and has been played at every coronation since. Vivaldi's Four Seasons (Winter) might have been more appropriate!!
Actually, chains work very well on ice as long as they are the correct size and the driver isn't expecting miracles. A majority of the drivers in the video did not know how to drive on ice . Look at the tires. Almost all were locked up. When you lock your wheels, too much brake force, you lose steering. If you don't have an anti-lock braking system, ABS, you need to pump the brakes so they won't lock up. You'll eventually come to a stop and while doing so you'll also retain the ability to steer.
That's why smart ol' southern boys stay in the south in winter!
Orthopedic physicians LOVE this weather !!!
I Love Winter! Stupid drivers let off of the brake!!!
Just hilarious/hope no one was hurt!
No global warming there.
I'm from Minnesota but I live in Australia now. This summer (winter up there) was so hot, Regularly over 40c 105f. I actually miss the snow and all that goes with it.
If your going to jump in the pool in the dead of winter you know there is going to be some degree of pain! That was so funny!
poor things. Winter tires, people. Think about it.
Definitely don't miss this part
Ice is the great equalizer.
How to you call in that your plow truck fell into a .....
CALIFORNIA NEVER LOOKED BETTER--HATE THE SNOW.
All the cars near the beginning had drivers jamming the brake pedal to the floor, and that's why they are sliding uncontrollably. Stay off the brake and retain some rolling resistance - and maybe some control. Tough to do too, because it's natural reaction to step on the brakes. Gotta train yourself not to do it. Try it - you'll like it.
It brought back memories! No more of that excitement when you were spinning down the road without any control. I LOVE CA more whenever I watch the weather reports!!
That was my driveway yesterday
people vs gravity is more like it
Ужасно! Сколько людей получают переломы... а может и погибают в результате несчастных случаев на скользкой поверхности? А что, автомобили в Канаде не "носят" шипованную резину?
...which aren't legal in many states. Clothes line will work in a pinch.
Brings back many memories. Now I remember why I moved.Tony DePasquale NYTonyD@gmail.com
And auto restoration garages
Been there. Don't need snow or ice! Ouch!!
And you strong, brave people cannot have guns and can only drink 16 oz sodas.
Makes me want to leave the South and retire up North with all the cold weather.... NOT!
slip sliding away.
I live in Iowa we have guns and drink whatever I want. That was an uneducated comment Full Otto.
i like summer more
Now I know why my grandparents moved to Southern Califonria 90 years ago
Been there, done that and don't miss it much...
Once you go past 90 deg of rotation, you need to keep the brakes locked as you have to control when the tyres will regain traction. If you think you are rally hot stuff, try releasing the brakes when you are approaching 15 deg alignment but you had better hope you returned the steering back to straight ahead! Otherwise you'll do what the idiots that run in the back of the pack in Nascar do, have the tyres regain traction when you are about 45 deg off and likely backwards, taking out a couple of others with you!
I'm headed for Mexico! Might be less dangerous.
For you ice walkers out there! Five years ago I took a 4' length of hardwood hand railing and drove a heavy nail into one end leaving an inch exposed. I than ground the head off the nail and have a good grip when walking on ice. I'm 67 y/o have horses that I tend in icy conditions and haven't fallen once. I must add that I've never suited up and jumped into a frozen pool though. Isn't it all just common sense?
P.S. hand rail has a flat side and fits the hand as a finger grip nicely...
Ten million ducks can't be wrong....see you in the spring!
we are still in sunny florida
I'd love to know how they got that skier (at approx. 2:06) back out of that snowdrift!
This is the funniest thing I have ever seen! Especially when the snow fell off the man's roof and he yelled !!!
Three cheers for global warming!
don't miss this a bit!
Thank you for music ID
And that's why Florida is so f*cked up, All the northern libtards move there and have tried to make it southern NY.
Need spikes for your shoes. I live in CO, good times.
Definitely Cleveland, Ohio! Of course, the next day it might be 55 degrees!
Rename this to people without winter tires
I promise I will not complain about the heat in Brisbane.......until next summer.!!
Enjoyed watching this on May 6th, as my friends in the NE are still dealing with winter cold and snow ... I've been in shorts and a T-shirt all "winter" in sunny FL ... make fun of the state, if you will, but warm weather, water birds, tropical gardens and year-round gardening is my ideal.... oh ... and the nearby beaches and soft sands are not bad either..
RX: CHAINS AND CLEATS
I was born and raised up north.and then joined the Navy. When I was sent back for discharge I was stationed in Kodiak, Aalaska. When I was discharged I promised myself I would never live anywhere it was cold. I am now 75 and have only lived in California and Florida. You can call me a wimp but I think I was smart. You can have the cold weather.
too bad there was a guy wearing a 1 direction tshirt, KARMA
I would like you to call us a wimp when u get get in your car in the middle of the day during a 122 degree afternoon here in Phoenix!
This is absolutely true situation in cold countries in winter…I experiencedsuch incidents many a time in Russia/CIS, Finland, Sweden, Holland, Germany, Switzerland,Canada, even in USA…You need to be very careful and know how to balance each ofyour step while walking on snow…Mohan S Negi
Cool...You missed the other side of life Man...Still there is a chance and be brave enough....
hahahaha...lucky you are...since you did not pass the life out in those experiments...Long live John...
Cool...I remember my experience in December 2002 in New York...It was just great snow experience in USA...
