The Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden in Ohio shared this new footage of Fiona, the zoo’s famous four-month-old baby hippopotamus, getting some bonding time with her humongous mother, Bibi, in the their outdoor Hippo Cove habitat.
“Fiona and Bibi are making progress getting used to each other in the big outdoor pool. The hippo care team is taking things slowly and keeping these interactions short. There’s no set schedule for when they’ll be out together, but you might be one of the lucky visitors who happens to be here when that happens.”
