Last night, the Calgary Hitmen, a professional hockey team from Calgary, Alberta, Canada, hosted their annual Teddy Bear Toss, a charity event where fans send teddy bears flying onto the ice after the Hitmen score their first goal of the game. This year 28,815 teddy bears were tossed, setting a new record. All of the bears will be donated to charities throughout the Calgary area.
