93-Year-Old Grandpa Wins Storytelling Competition With a Hilarious Valentine’s Day Story from 1933

Kathy Sitter shared this hilarious video of her lovable 93-year-old grandfather, Tom Sitter, earning a perfect score for his childhood story about rejection at a recent “Love Hurts”-themed “The Moth in Madison StorySLAM” open-mic storytelling competition at High Noon Saloon in Madison, Wisconsin.

“Tom scored our first ever 10 with his winning story tonight. The memory of the girls he carefully selected to give his five valentines to in 1933 was strong enough that 84 years later he still knew their names.”
