How to Make the Crème Brûlée from ‘Amelie’

In the latest episode of “Binging with Babish,” a cooking series where home chef Andrew Rea recreates famous foods from films and TV shows, Andrew demonstrates how to make a homemade version of one of Amelie’s simple pleasures, crème brûlée, from the 2001 French romantic comedy film, Amelie.

“Amelie has no boyfriend. Use your culinary torch for something other than sous vide and 6-paper-joints for once, and follow along as we recreate this delectable Francophilian fancyfood.”
