A man from Greenville, South Carolina, who’s been living with a rescued raccoon named Tito for a year, shares some advice and insight on the challenges of having a pet raccoon. You can see more of Tito on Instagram and YouTube.
“Raccoons are great when they are babies, but they don’t stay young for long. They grow up fast, and when they do, they become very stubborn. This is because they are preparing to leave their mom when they are out in the wild. They are trying to figure things out for themselves because they will be on their own very soon.”
