As someone who freelanced for years as a writer and an artist, I can tell you firsthand that choosing beggars are the worst. They have no sense of, well, just no sense.
Don’t ask people for free work. Exposure isn’t a thing unless you’re gigantic. This is our livelihood. Pay up.
