Alyssa Cowit is a New York City teacher who wants the world to know that kids aren’t acting out, but thinking out loud. Most of the time, it’s hilarious. Occasionally, it’s the sweetest thing she’s ever heard.
Thankfully, she teamed up with a fellow Ithaca College grad to make a viral Instagram account called @LiveFromSnackTime that collects and shares the most beautifully honest and strange things that come out of her students’ mouths.
Frankly, we could all learn from these kids. We need to look at the world through new eyes. They’re doing it for us.
